On the Block The new WB Series of stools designed by Yellow Diva design director, David Walley, were created specifically for the hospitality market, ideally suited to bars, restaurants and corporate dining areas. Referencing traditional wooden chopping boards the stools combine unpretentious materials to deliver a low maintenance product with a fresh contemporary aesthetic. The solid timber top is CNC machined from laminated plantation-grown American oak. The gently profiled seat is set within a recessed circle. A stop-chamfered routed edge detail maintains the line of the tapered steel leg. The natural grain of the timber is enhanced by a non-toxic, plant-based oil. The steel legs are available zinc plated or powder-coated in any RAL colour. The feet tips are 100% recyclable EPDM rubber. Designs are underway for a mid-height version and a chair with sinuous steel back. The stools are offered in 2 heights, WBS1 low stool 450mm and WBS2 high stool 760mm. WBS1 may be stacked in groups of up to four.
