CrayPot by Yellow Diva for Zenith

Just in time for summer, Yellow Diva & Zenith are launching a versatile colourful range of unique hand-woven sculptural indoor / outdoor furniture. Designer David Walley was inspired by memories of going out on the crayfish boats off the coast at Port Fairy as a teenager. The concept taps into Australia’s rich coastal narrative, with further influences coming from the flawless yet unassuming structure of sea urchin shells, and the tactile delicacy and strength of indigenous fish traps & baskets. Whilst not belying their utilitarian function, the organic sculptural contours also celebrate the vision of artists Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth & Anish Kapoor as well as Yellow Diva’s ongoing fascination with wrapped form.
