David Walley: Founder & Design Director

Having graduated in industrial design from Melbourne’s RMIT, David secured a position in the art department of ABC television, later travelling to London where he forged a successful career as an art director in the British film industry. It was during this latter period that he co-founded Yellow Diva with architect James Davis. Their shared passions produced a dynamic first collection of sculptural furniture that launched the brand to critical acclaim at Milan's Salone del Mobile 1996.

Returning to Australia in 2008, David assumed the role of Design Director and set about diversifying and expanding Yellow Diva’s product range. His hands-on approach sees ideas progress deftly from sketch designs and rough modelling to full size prototype, driven by a desire to explore and create.

Felicity Joll: Creative Director

Further to an honours degree in architecture from Manchester University, Felicity entered the film industry as a freelance art director, gaining extensive experience working on prestigious productions at the BBC and for numerous independent film production companies. Felicity went on to work for award-winning London architects Hawkins\Brown with responsibility spanning a variety of projects including exhibition curation and production of their first monograph &\Also.

Joining Yellow Diva in 2008 as Creative Director, with responsibility for repositioning the brand for its Australian debut, her vision is to promote ideas-driven, highly individual work as a bench mark for local manufacture.
