The hemispheres are precision hand spun from aluminium in small batches.
The 'stars' are programmed to be laser cut by a 5 axis machine.
After laser cutting, the limited edition versions of the hemispheres are marked up with the constellations, ready to be hand engraved.
On the limited edition Firmament Constellation pendants, the names and configurations of the constellations are hand engraved. Each edition is individually numbered.
After anodising, each perforation is carefully plugged with a silicon cone prior to applying the final exterior finish.
Once painted, the silicon plugs are removed to reveal the stars.
The finished pendant undergoes its final inspection.
